Limited edition printed with four different blacks in stochastic screening (or random screening) by La presse purée in Rennes.

This edition is produced on the occasion of the presentation of the artist's work as part of 4X3 – L’art contemporain dans la ville from September 29th, 2020 to January 9th, 2021.

Michel Le Belhomme was born in 1973 and currently lives and works in Rennes, France.

He is a graduate of the École des Beaux-Arts, Rennes, and the University of Rennes 2 and is a professor, lecturer, curator and photography critic.

Michel Le Belhomme practices the "slow sculptural protocol that makes a painting" according to Christian Gattioni, "in the wake of Brassaï’s involuntary sculptures and the readymade to scale and point of view rectified by Patrick Tosani”. What he adopted from the first artist is the use of materials without quality and their power of transformation. What he adopted from the second artist is how he works on the singularity of objects and their metamorphosis in a game of proximity, disturbed by distance and scale variation.
