Ce livre réunit une soixantaine de séries composées de plus de 500 photographies vernaculaires anonymes. Ce corpus photographique a été construit par le collectionneur Jean-Marie Donat autour d'une idée forte : donner une vision singulière du XXe siècle.
Ce livre a été publié à l'occasion de l'exposition A Self Portrait of the XXth Century - From the J.M. Donat Collection of Vernacular Photography au FOTOFESTIWAL 2020 - Festival International de la photographie de Lodz en Pologne.
This book gathers around sixty photo series made up of more than 500 anonymous vernacular photographs. This photographic corpus is built by collector Jean-Marie Donat around of idea of giving a peculiar vision of the 20th century.
This book has been published on the occasion of the exhibitionA Self Portrait of the XXth Century - From the J.M. Donat Collection of Vernacular Photography at FOTOFESTIWAL 2020 - International Festival of Photography in Lodz Poland.
