Mon travail consiste en une relecture du paysage urbain contemporain. De mes pérégrinations dans Berlin, Londres ou Rugen entre autres, je rapporte des photographies de façades de bâtiments emblématiques qui, recadrées sont ensuite collées sur de petites cartes munies d’un miroir au verso. De ces cartes naissent des constructions éphémères se référant pour moi aux jeux enfantins des châteaux de cartes. Les miroirs reflètent narcissiquement les motifs de façades dans autant de variations de formes à l’équilibre précaire, comme pour mieux signifier la fragilité de leurs existences
Jet Lag est une collection de livres dédiés au dessin, collage, photomontage et autres expérimentations graphiques.
My work consists of a reinterpretation of the contemporary urban landscape. From my peregrinations in Berlin, London or Rugen, among others, I bring back photographs of facades of emblematic buildings which are then cropped and glued on small cards with a mirror on the back. From these cards are born ephemeral constructions that for me are referring to the children’s games of the house of cards. The mirrors narcissistically reflect the pattern of the facades in so many variations of precariously balanced forms, as if to better signify the fragility of their existence.
Jet Lag is a collection of books dedicated to drawing, collage, photomontage and other graphic experiments.
